  • Congressman Lance's Visit

    On Thursday, February 23, 2017, Congressman Leonard Lance visited our MEAM shop.  Our students treated Mr. Lance to a real world production operation which included raw material handling and processing, primary machining on CNC mill & lathe, finishing operations on manual mill, surface grinder and belt sander and finally, quality control.  In addition, students showed off their emerging skills in robotics development and programing and ended the day by creating a 3D model of Mr. Lance.

  • Kayleen McCabe's Visit

    During the first week of February, Kayleen McCabe of the DIY Network's Rescue Renovation visited our MEAM shop ... and LOVED IT!

  • MEAMers 3D Printing Face Shields

    During the spring of 2020, MEAM students David Bilia,Will Mente, Ben Myshka and Ryan DelSordo as well as Mr. Dalfonzo and Janet Cantore-Watson worked to 3D print and deliver over 3000 face shields to local organizations in need.  Donation sites include Somerset County Office of Emergency Management, Morristown Memorial Hospital, Rutgers University, South Plainfield EMS / Rescue Squad, Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield and the Diocese of Metuchen.
