NAVY SEALS VISIT SCVTHS
Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS) students and staff were given a presentation by two active-duty United States Navy SEALs. Organized by SCVTHS Social Studies Instructor & Army Veteran Mr. Ed Graf, the SEALs discussed their experiences, duties, and responsibilities as some of the most elite military personnel.

Approximately 250 total items were collected and delivered to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County in Bound Brook. In addition to the donated items, a monetary donation of $110 was also made to the Franklin Food Bank in Somerset.

SCVTS is proud of its ability to develop high quality Career and Technical Educational programs for a diverse group of students in Somerset and other neighboring counties.

DCF's Children's System of Care (CSOC) provides all children and adolescents – regardless of insurance status - with coordinated access to mental health supports, substance use treatment and services for intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The NJDOE has identified and recognized the Somerset County Voc-Tech School District as a High Performing School District as per the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJQSAC). The District Performance Review has met the benchmark of 80% or great on the NJQSAC Continuum in all five of the following indicators:- Instruction & Program; Fiscal Management; Governance; Operations; and Personnel
The SCVTS District will submit an equivalency waiver request to demonstrate that SCVTS District has followed the NJQSAC process and meets all code requirements.
