SPRING SPORTS PACKETS:
For students interested in playing baseball or softball, please note that spring sports packets are due tomorrow, February 26th.
The newly formed Student Association for Environmental Awareness Club will be hosting their next meeting for all interested students on Wednesday, February 26th during periods 2 and 7. All meetings will be held in Ms. McGarry's room, F208. Come be a part of the movement - we hope to see you there!
CHILDREN’S BOOK COLLECTION:
Health Occupations/HOSA students will be collecting gently used children's books for the Reach Out and Read Program, which partners with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together. Please drop off your donation in room F207 by March 31st.
ANIMAL SHELTER SUPPLY DRIVE:
Do you want to help support animals in your local shelter? Agricultural Science is organizing a pet supply drive until March 20th. There will be signs posted that have a list of suggested supplies for donation to St. Hubert’s animal shelter. Please place donations in St. Hubert’s collection containers located in the main office lobby and media center lobby.
VARSITY JACKETS & CLASS RINGS:
A Jostens representative will be here on Tuesday, March 3rd selling class rings and varsity jackets during all lunch periods in the cafeteria lobby.
Senior Shirts are now on SALE through February 28th. Order forms can be found in Cosmetology, the Main Office and on the school website! See Ms. Francis if you have any questions!
FUNPLEX FIELD TRIP:
Permission slips are now available for the Funplex field trip on Monday, April 27th from 10AM-2PM. Cost is $26/person, seats are limited. See Mr. Poznanski with any questions.
LINKAGES MUSIC & WRITING CIRCLE:
The Linkages Music & Writing Circle will meet during 6th period every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month starting on October 2nd in the Linkages Drop-In Center. In the Circle we share and listen to songs, poetry and writing in a respectful and supportive space. We love all kinds of music including rock, rap, alternative, folk, popular, country and instrumentals. Writing can be poetry, short stories, lyrics, essays or journal entries. Share your own original work or the work of artists you admire. Share a song on your tablet or phone or bring an instrument if you play one. A guitar is always available for students who wish to borrow one. All students, including those who come just to listen, are always welcome. Mindfulness Mondays will meet every Monday during all lunch periods. Sign up sheets will be in the cafeteria; feel free to bring your lunch. Please come ready to celebrate you, practice relaxation exercises, deep breathing and other mindful activities that help improve concentration and mood. Please spread the word and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you!
All students have been issued a Student ID and should have it at all times. Students who misplace an ID should be directed to the Main Office; the replacement cost is $2.00.
