All students 17 years of age or older are invited to register to vote in the U.S. elections today! Come by the Main Lobby on Thursday, April 26th during 1st, 4th or 7th period after getting permission from your teacher. See the flyers throughout the school for more information.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP SOMERSET:
Applications are now being accepted for Youth Leadership Somerset, a leadership development program for Somerset County youth entering grades 9-12. The application is available on the county website and is due on May 16th. If you are interested or have any questions, please see your counselor.
Prom 2018, 1920’s theme, will be held on Friday, June 1st from 6PM-10PM at the Bridgewater Marriott. The cost is $85 per person. Deadline for the $45 deposit has passed. See Ms. Gillooly, Ms. Prezioso or the main office for questions.
The Dorney Park trip will take place on Tuesday, June 19th. Please see Mrs. Francis or Mr. Poznanski for a permission slip today! Permission slips and payment are due no later than May 25th; space is limited.
Attention Seniors! Permission Slips for the senior trip to Dutch Springs are now available. The $30 cost along with permission slips are due by June 1st to Mrs. Francis in F109. Space is limited.
ROBOTICS & ENGINEERING CLUB:
Interested in robotics and engineering? Come join the SCVTHS Robotics and Engineering Club! Learn how to 3D print, build and program your own robot. Build the best and win a prize! The club meets every Tuesday after school in B207. See Mr. Dalfonzo with any questions.
Our school store is now open! Visit us on Wednesdays and Fridays during all lunch periods.
Feeling stressed or anxious? Come to our weekly classes for healthy coping skills dealing with anger, frustration and stress. The Mindfulness Meditation group will meet on select Thursdays during period 5 in the Linkages department. For more information please see Ms. Maria Santiago or Ms. Bridget Donovan. Remaining dates for classes are May 10th, May 17th, June 7th and June 14th.
WALL OF PEACE:
Any student interested in painting a brick on the Wall of Peace, please submit a proof of your drawing to either Bridget Donovan or Donna Lenox in the Linkages Office.
LINKAGES MUSIC & WRITING CIRCLE:
The Linkages Music & Writing Circle will meet during 6th period every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Linkages Drop-In Center. The Music & Writing Circle is where students share their songs and writing in a respectful and supportive space. Feel free to bring an instrument if you play one. A guitar is always available for students who play. What you share can be your own original work or the work of artists you admire. All students, including those who just want to listen, are welcome!
