POSITION: SECURITY OFFICERS – Temporary Leave Replacement/Substitutes

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
3. Minimum three (3) years of experience in public safety/law enforcement.
4. Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.
5. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
6. Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
7. Three (3) checked and verified references.
8. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

SUPERVISES:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.

JOB GOAL:
To promote attitudes of student responsibility and assist the professional staff with the safety of students and staff and the security of the facilities.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Temporary leave replacement and also daily substitute(s) as needed.
