Job Title: Screen Printing Operator
Job Description/Summary:
The Screen Printing Operator plays a crucial role in the production process specifically focusing on the creation of high-quality printed materials. The operator will be responsible for setting up screens, mixing inks, and executing print runs efficiently. Attention to detail is essential, as the operator is responsible for inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality. The individual selected for this position must be able to perform the following essential job duties: § Responsible for printing designs on various types of materials. § Reviewing work orders to determine required settings, types and color of designs to print. § Adjusts position of design or screen to ensure specified color print registration. § Using direct emulsion for screen coding. § Screen exposure. § Examines printed material for defects such as smears or uneven color variations. § Observes the printing equipment to detect any machine or equipment malfunction and moves to correct the issues. § Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. § Measures, centers, and positions screen, using gauge and hand tools. § Keep work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards. § Assist in inventory management of printing supplies and materials as needed. § Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
