SCVTHS Career & Technical Education (CTE) Admission Testing 

Programs include: 

Agricultural Science, Auto Body, Auto Technology, Carpentry, Computer Science, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Dance, Electrical Construction, Graphic Communications, Health Occupations, Law & Public Safety, Mechanics & Repair, MEAM, Plumbing, RVCC Cosmetology, Theater Arts, Welding.

To all Somerset County public school 8th grade CTE applicants:

We are currently scheduled to administer the SCVTHS CTE admission test at various middle schools.  Please check with your school counselor prior to registering for a Saturday test session to see if we are coming to your school. 

To all Somerset County public school students in grades 9-10, Hunterdon County public school students grades 8-10, private school students grades 8-10 or any 11th grade student applying to the Dance and Theater programs:

Admission testing for the CTE programs will be held at the Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School on the following dates:

Saturday, March 4, 2023- 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Reminder: Prior to registering for a test session, an SCVTHS application must be completed and in the possession of your school counselor or SCVTHS. 

**If you have applied to the Academy for Health and Medical Science Program, that testing date is March 11, 2023.  Please visit the Academy Admissions page for testing information and registration.**
