• A Notice Regarding Zoom Meeting Policies and Online Learning Expectations
     
    Students are not permitted to share Zoom meeting links, record Zoom sessions or take images during Zoom sessions. These sessions are treated as class time and any violation of these rules may result in disciplinary and legal action. If it is discovered that you shared links or violated any of the policies set forth by the SCVTS Board of Education, the district will work with Zoom and the appropriate authorities to investigate and bring those involved to justice. Refer to policies 2361, 5500, 5600, 9323 and the student handbook for additional information (specifically the section on Online Learning Expectations found on page 21). If you are aware of any students violating these policies, it is your duty to report them to your teacher. Please help us as we strive to make a warm and welcoming learning environment for all.

    Comcast/Xfinity will be offering free internet service on their nationwide wifi platform for the next 60 days.  To connect to this service, students will only require an internet capable device (laptop, desktop, chromebook, tablet.)  If students have an issue connecting to this network, they should reach out to Comcast for support.  More information about this offer: https://wifi.xfinity.com/

    Xfinity WiFi Free For Everyone: Xfinity WiFi hotspots across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity WiFi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots, and then launch a browser.
