The Linkages Music & Writing Circle will meet during 6th period every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month starting on October 2nd in the Linkages Drop-In Center. We love all kinds of music including rock, rap, alternative, folk, popular, country and instrumentals. Writing can be poetry, short stories, lyrics, essays or journal entries. Share your own original work or the work of artists you admire. Share a song on your tablet or phone or bring an instrument if you play one. A guitar is always available for students who wish to borrow one. All students, including those who come just to listen, are always welcome. For more information contact Sharleen Leahey at email@example.com, x7267 or Elaine Howe at firstname.lastname@example.org, x7286.
Mindfulness Mondays will meet every Monday during all lunch periods. Sign up sheets will be in the cafeteria; feel free to bring your lunch. Please come ready to celebrate you, practice relaxation exercises, deep breathing and other mindful activities that help improve concentration and mood. Please spread the word and bring a friend. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you!
All students have been issued a Student ID and should have it at all times. Students who misplace an ID should be directed to the Main Office; the replacement cost is $2.00.
