NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY BAKE SALE:
NTHS will be holding a bake sale in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month. We will be holding our fundraiser outside the media center at the end of 3rd period and at dismissal today and tomorrow. All proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital - stop by and support a great cause! Please see Ms. Santiago in the main office (media center) with any questions.
Mindfulness Mondays begin today during all lunch periods. We will meet outside on the patio between the lunchroom and the Pupil Services hall. Sign up sheets will be in the lunchroom; feel free to bring your lunch. Studies have shown that students who practice mindfulness before a test perform better. Please come ready to celebrate you, practice relaxation exercises, deep breathing and other mindful activities that help improve concentration and mood. Please spread the word and BRING a friend. EVERYONE is welcome! Looking forward to seeing you on Monday!
YANKEE CANDLE SALE:
The Senior Class is hosting a Yankee Candle Fundraiser today through October 7th. See Mrs. Francis in F109 or a member of the Student Council for a fundraising packet today!
The Freshmen student council is hosting a car wash on Thursday, September 26th (rain date 9/27). The car wash will take place in the Performing Arts parking lot after school. Thank you for your support!
Sign up sheets are now available for any student who would like to join the Yearbook Club. Sign up sheets are located in the main office (located in the media center), cafeteria and in Ms. Williamson’s office.
All students will be issued a Student ID and should have it at all times. Students who misplace an ID should be directed to the Main Office; the replacement cost is $2.00.
Quote of the Day:
“Be so good they can’t ignore you.”
