The Health Occupations Program offers students an opportunity to learn about and experience the many opportunities in the field of health care. Upon graduation students may be employed as certified nursing assistants or may use the strong foundation the program provides to seek additional post-secondary education or professional certifications. After receiving a foundation in basic nursing, first aid, and interpersonal skills, students will participate in clinical experiences at an extended care facility and an acute care hospital. Students will have the opportunity to earn college credits from both Rutgers University and Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC).
