ALEXIS FASOLI IS STUDENT OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER
Alexis Fasoli, a senior in the Auto Body Program, has been selected as Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School’s Student of the Month for November 2016. Alexis is the daughter of Ms. Susan Reid of Raritan.
SCVTHS English Instructor Chris Miller nominated Alexis for the award because, “Alexis works just about the hardest of all the students here at SCVTHS. She is juggling school, work, and homelife, and she does a pretty good job staying successful at everything.” SCVTHS English Instructor Brendan Downey also nominated Alexis for the award stating, “Alexis Fasoli is on time and prepared for class every day. Her assignments are submitted complete and on schedule without fail. She participates daily in class discussion and is particularly interested in our creative writing lessons and assignments.”
At SCVTHS, Alexis has been a Stellar Student and is a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, Alexis works at the Domino’s Pizza in Raritan, and when she has free time, enjoys hanging out with her friends and spending time with her family. After graduating from SCVTHS, Alexis plans to advance her education at the collegiate level.
Alexis was appreciative for receiving the award and said, “I would like to thank Mr. Downey and Mr. Miller for nominating me for Student of the Month.”
