BRIDGEWATER WEGMANS CHEFS TEACH SUSHI LESSONS TO SCVTHS STUDENTS

On January 14th, Chef Arthur Chen and Chef Terry Caswell of Bridgewater Wegmans taught a sushi class to the Culinary Arts students at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School. Students learned how to create California rolls and were then given the opportunity to use their creativity to create other different types of rolls.

Kristin Padden, from Human Resources at Bridgewater Wegmans, explained how the culinary partnership between Wegmans and SCVTHS has grown. Wegmans has committed to bringing chefs into the classroom to teach various techniques, as well offering career opportunities and offerings at their stores.
