Sharon Samuel, a senior in the Academy for Health & Medical Sciences at Somerset County Vocational & Technical Schools, who was recently named an African American Scholar for the 2020-2021 school year.
As part of the College Board National Recognition Programs (CBRP), Sharon Samuel of Hillsborough, a senior in the Academy for Health & Medical Sciences, was recently named an African American Scholar for the 2020-2021 school year. The award was given to Sharon for her excellence in academic achievement.
Sharon achieved this status for scoring in the top 2.5% of PSAT/NMSQT test takers who identify as one or more of the following: African American, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, or attend school in a rural area, or are from a small town.
