SCVTHS HOLDS NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY OFFICER INDUCTIONS

Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School.

 

Maeve Touhey of Gladstone

Maeve Touhey of Gladstone, who was recently installed as Secretary
of the National Technical Honor Society at
Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School.

 

Arielle Handler of Hillsborough

Arielle Handler of Hillsborough, who was recently installed as Treasurer
of the National Technical Honor Society
at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School.

 

 

Jason Spinrad of Hillsborough

Jason Spinrad of Hillsborough, who was recently installed as President
of the National Technical Honor Society
at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School.

 

On November 23rd, four students in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) at Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS) were installed as chapter officers. In a small ceremony, NTHS Advisor Susan Santiago, Principal Hector Montes, and Director of Special Services Maria Johnson presented certificates and pins to the newly appointed students. The students and their new positions are as follows:

  • President - Jason Spinrad of Hillsborough
  • Vice President - Paris Bozzuti of Branchburg
  • Treasurer - Arielle Handler of Hillsborough
  • Secretary - Maeve Touhey of Gladstone

Students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society are selected based on their grades, as well as recommendations from their Career and Technical Education instructor(s). Chapter officers are then voted into their positions by their peers.
