Ms. Scott and Ms. Shahid are known for their dedication during challenging times and willingness to help the entire school community.

Scott and Shahid said they were both “surprised and honored” to receive the award. “It feels good to be recognized,” added Shahid. In addition to thanking the administration and staff, the duo also specifically thanked their supervisor, Andrew Eberhardt, for his “guidance, support, and bringing out the best” in them.

“We like to keep informed about technology changes as well as new technology,” remarked the Shahid. “We like to provide the best of service. I am proud of my work and proud to be part of the SCVTHS community.”

Ms. Scott added, “My favorite part of the job is helping students and staff with all of their technology needs. It is a great place to work. I enjoy coming here and I love that every day is different.”

SCVTS Network and Systems Administrator Andrew Eberhardt stated, “Both Ms. Scott and Ms. Shahid are exceptional employees. Their efforts have enabled our students and staff to continue to thrive, despite the many challenges of the past year. Though, as capable and knowledgeable both these staff members are, it is their abundant positivity that makes them well-deserving of this recognition.”

Principal Hector Montes added, “Ms. Scott and Ms. Shahid have played an integral role in the distribution of Chromebooks during the pandemic, ensuring a 1-1 ratio. In addition, they tend to address technical requests in a timely manner.”
