Last week, 2013 Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS) alumna Miranda Gilbert visited the SCVTHS Cosmetology program to hold a waxing and brow shaping class for the current students. Miranda is the owner/operator of Energy Wax Spa in Somerville.

During the class, the students learned about sanitation, waxing facts, brow shaping, and making positive client connections. Cosmetology Instructor Julie Francis stated, "The student feedback from the advanced class was great! They loved her teaching style and felt they got great tips on client connection, professionalism, and technical skills.”
